BackBlast:

July 4th. My favorite secular holiday of all. It means something to everyone and I hope that however y’all decide or wherever y’all decide to celebrate this day, you have good friends and family, delicious food and colorful sparks lighting up the sky. May the meat be tender, May the ice cream be sweet, and contribute to the National Hotdog Consumption toll. It’s high. Very high.  So, y’all, HERES THE THANG!

We all did some stretching, and talking and laughing and more stretching and then I explained the stuff.

Sometimes I feel like I have three different minds. Well, this time I changed them all and finally saw what we could do without mats and without weights. There was a lot more running than you usually get when I Q the workout, but either way, we were laughing, talking and moving, and I’ll be honest and say that I did not count.

17 questions about Independence Day

Answer Correctly: 13 Jumping Jacks

Wrong Answer: 50 (rotation between squats, lunges and hallelujahs)

Please message me separately for the questions. I have no intention of typing all 17. We got quite a few wrong, and a handful right. After each question and answer exercise we completed a 76 second run. So we really were all over the place. Stopped at the flag for The Star-Spangled Banner (some believed sung by Beyoncé) and why not? She is soulful and has a beautiful voice. BUT NOT AS GREAT AS WHITNEY HOUSTON when she belted out the most beautiful rendition of Star-Spangled Banner I had ever heard. I was wrong about the year. It was the 1991 Super Bowl. Not 1992. So I stand corrected.

Ladies, I had a blast and thank you for joining me.

Until next time,

Rise Up
