Six adorable ladies joined me today for two different workouts. The sun was shining brightly and Bulldawg chose to stay on the sunny side while the rest of us took to the shady part of the playground.
We warmed up with arm circles, Michael Phelps, toy soldiers and then a second round of all of these.
The Thang #1:
A tabata style workout, with 45 seconds of work, 15 seconds of rest. Four rounds total.
Round 1 – squats, jumping jacks, lunges, calf raises, mountain climbers, skaters with a squat, deadlifts and hollow rocks
Round 2- merkins, bent over rows, hammer curls, reverse flyes, overhead press, around the world arms, dips, chest flyes
Round 3 – dragon lunge (right), plank hold, burpees, skull crushers, bicep cross overs, lateral raises, BGS, dragon lunge (left)
Round 4 – narwhal (right), chair pose, hallelujahs, jump squats, inchworms, Russian twists, flutter kicks, narwhal (left)
The Thang #2:
Let’s play cards – we picked exercises from a deck of special cards, rolled the dice for the rep count and finished up the last 15 minutes with this.
