Hot & sunny! Just as expected at The Thicket this morning, but 7 of us managed to stay out of the sun & under the pavilion during the beatdown…except when we were running of coarse! After a quick intro & disclaimer while stretching we jump right into our “Tag Team Q” workout….But first….a song challenge!!
Whoomp! There it is! – Sky punches throughout & front/side kicks for the Whoomp hook…to the beat of coarse!!
The plan for this workout was to give everyone an opportunity to “lead” a round.
Each round consisted of RUN/Walk Lap of Choice (small/med/large), meet back – Exercise of Choice (1 min Arms, 1 min Legs, 1 min Abs).
Then you would “tag” the next person to begin their round to Q.
First we each counted off starting with myself as #1, Trailmix #2, Canon #3, Seinfeld #4, Sporty Spice #5, Beach Bum #6 & Tiny Dancer #7.
*Example: My round I chose – Run medium lap, 1 min Carolina Dry Docks, 1 min Curb Jumps, 1 min Leg Lifts. Everything was done together as a group…#BetterTogether
I provided a list of several exercises as reference, however, PAX was welcome to use their favorite or just try to torture us for fun! 🙂 We made it through 4 rounds before one more song challenge…Booty Drop (think Tootsie Roll…sound is almost the same…’90s rap!) – Hold a squat throughout while Overhead Press & drop your squat each time you hear Drop in the hook…EIGHT times to be exact!
With only about 2/3 min left some of us ran one last lap of choice while others started stretching…We gathered to have COT & Name 0 Rama where we named our FABULOUS new girl! Beach Bum! She is from Florida & loves everything about the beach. We also had the pleasure of giving her THREE respects in our Name 0 Rama!!! Welcome!!
