Rolling outta bed after days of festivities and not-so-healthy food consumption is hard. But we FiAs are made to conquer hard things.
It was chilly and dark, but that didn’t stop 4 PAX from finding their way to Foxtrot for a beatdown!
It was a countdown workout, starting with 10 exercises plus a run (think reverse accumulator) where we dropped an exercise each round.
Our warmup was arm circles forward and back, reach up then touch toes, high knees, butt kicks.
We started with:
10 Squat to Press
9 Sets of alternating side lunges with chest press
8 around the world
60 second plank
5 overhead pull down plus glute bridge
4 reverse crunches
We then ran to the end of the parking lot and back. Our next round started at exercise 9, the alternating side lunge with press, and completed down to run. Then we started at 8, then 7, etc. and we completed the full countdown. We had time to do the full set just once more because we couldn’t get enough planks, froggers and burpees!
Despite the cold, fatigue and food hangovers, we powered through the workout and we are #bettertogether!
We did a quick COT continuing to pray for those who are sick, who are healing, who are traveling, who may be struggling with loss or challenges within their families. We give thanks for all the many blessings we have and are thankful for our FiA sisters. Happy Friday-eve, y’all!!
