We played Bananagrams….well, kinda! Each PAX drew 5 letters from my kids’ Bananagrams game, then we got started quickly with some jumping jacks and through the tunnels (IC).
The Thang –
Well poop….my kids erased my board before I got a pic (they were being “helpful”). Here was the premise though, for each letter of the alphabet, the PAX could choose between 10 of a “harder exercise” or 30 of an “easier exercise.” Angry Donkey Kicks vs Arm Circles. Wall Sit for a Minute vs Windmills. Monkey Humpers vs Mountain Climbers. Lunges vs LBCs. You get the idea!
The result is that we did A LOT of arm circles and crunches of various kinds. We also learned some new exercises, like the Figure 4 Squat(ohmmmmmmm), Exploding Push Up and the Sea Turtle.
We went hard and fast for the full 45 minutes and got through 5 letters for each PAX for a total of 40 exercises – YAY for us!
We had a couple of minutes at the end for some OYO stretches, then COT, a prayer for better things over the horizon for everyone, and Name-O-Rama!
