It was an awesome day at the Hideout. Rain held off. Weather was PERFECTLY cool but not cold and the PAX was lively!
A few of us met early to grab 2 miles before the beatdown and laid the course for the Pentagon along the way.
We warmed up quickly with some side lunge pulses, hip openers, arm circles, and windmills IC. Then we got right to it!
The Pentagon: 5 cones- in somewhat of a circular route, each 100 yards apart if possible. Start with a burpee and then run to first cone. Do 10 push ups, 10 sumo squats, and 10 jumping jacks. Run to the next come and repeat. Once you get to the last cone and do your 10s- head back to the start line for a burpee and then up all cone reps to 20. One more burpee when you get back to the start and then cone reps go up to 30!
Once we finished, we gathered up all of our mats and made a circle so I could introduce them to London Bridge (song routine to Fergie’s London Bridge). Everyone loved the break from push ups and the fun coreographed booty work. Check out the routine here and let’s get all of FiA Cherokee familiar with London Bridge!!
We ended with some basic ground stretches and COT where we prayed for lots of unspoken FiA requests as well as a few named ones. We were indeed #bettertogether today! TGIF and out workout box can be checked off for the day!
