It was a beautiful evening for a beatdown at Foxtrot! Me and the girls welcomed our FNG, ran threw the disclaimer, and got right into our beatdown that was stolen from Partly Cloudy (thanks!) called The Pyramid of Pain.
Our first level we ran a lap and completed 25 reps of merkins, squats, bicep curls, big girl sit ups, and side lunges. The second level we ran a lap and completed 30 reps of Russian twists, hip dips, leg raises, and mountain climbers. The third level we ran a lap and completed 40 reps of skaters, butterflies, and torso twists. The fourth level we ran a lap and completed 50 reps of LBCs and tricep kickbacks. On the fifth and final level of the Pyramid of Pain we ran a lap and completed 100 hallelujahs. We had a few minutes to spare so we did a few ab exercises and each PAX picked the two and the exercise.
We circled up and Healthy Momma was kind enough to pray for us. Since we had an FNG we got to name her, she picked Tata and has a special story to go with it. Ask her about it, she is the definition of a FRIENDLY new girl! We were so happy to have her join us today and hope to see her at some of the earlier beatdown s around Cherokee.
