BackBlast:

Our morning started off dark and sleepy, but that didn’t stop 8 awesome ladies from showing up to Foxtrot.  We started with stretches and TTTs in cadence.  Then we went on a long Indian Run and talked about our love of June and cold beverages.  Then we got to work.

6 Rounds, 6 minutes each, 2 exercises, 22 Reps

We started a timer for 6 minutes.  We did 22 of the first exercise at the mats, then ran o the crosswalk and did 22 reps of the second exercise. Then ran back to repeat until the 6 minutes were up.  Then we did it again with different exercises.  Double Trouble is what Straight Shooter calls it.  I’ve called it Two-fers in the past.

1. Push ups / Squats

2. BGSUs / Side Lunges

3. Bicep Curl to OH Press / Monkey Humpers

4. SLDLs / Plank Jacks

5. Chest Flys / Bulgarian Split Squats

We didn’t make it to the 6th round, with water and sweat towel breaks in between.  We were also a bit distracted by the amazing hot air balloon!  We circled up, stretched, prayed, and went on with our day!
