BackBlast:

The remnants of Hurricane Marco caused some early morning showers and kept cloud cover for most of the day.  We didn’t have the sun shining brightly on us but the mugginess was there.  School has been in session for a few weeks now and I was glad to see some of our teachers back after settling back into their new routines.  We started with some static stretches, jumping jacks, windmills, and through the tunnels.

The Thang:

We did an exercise standing up followed by one down one the mat over and over so we were getting up and down the whole time burning more calories.  We did each exercise for 45 seconds with a 15 second rest/time to change positions.  Here are the exercises:

Squat to leg raise

Pushups

Curtsy Lunges

Pretzel Crunches

Sumo Squats

Narwhals

Tricep Kickbacks

Donkey Kicks

Bicep Curls

Fire Hydrants

Backward Lunges

Plank

Upright Rows

Russian Twists

Scarecrows

We went through them twice with a run after each round of scarecrows.  We had time for one round of bat wings before ending with stretching.  We finished with COT and nameorama.
