Wow – what a crazy week! With so much to balance – kids, spouses, significant others, jobs, LIFE – I was so thankful to see 9 beautiful faces at the Den this morning. 10 if you count Rescue’s super sweet puppers! 😊 Today we had cloudy skies and warmer temperatures- a huge blessing after the cold and rain we’ve trained through. We circled up and prayed for wellness and God’s presence to help us remember that he’s in control. We did our name-o-rama but had to start again bc your fearless Q forgot the cadence. 😂 Then we hit the roads and logged 4-8 each. We kept it to the lots with the later sunrise and slick roads.
Today was a great reminder of what we are. Friends. Not just a running group. We pushed each other to run just a little further but took care of each other through encouragement and support to take care of yourself. Wonder Woman said it best today – these runs, these workouts and these ladies are going to get us through the next few weeks. So I’ll see y’all soon and at a safe distance. Air high 5’s for some and jazz hands for Dominoe! ❤️🏃🏽♀️
