Only in Georgia can you experience multiple seasons in 1 day. So in honor of our recent Groundhog Day, where Punxsutawney Phil predicted early Spring but General Beauregard Lee predicted 6 more weeks of winter, we did a Bill Murray Beatdown today. It was warmer than normal, but the crowd was smaller than usual. 6 PAX joined me in repetition today!
We warmed up with arm circles, jump ropes, and skaters. Then we did it again and again.
Next we spelled out WINTER and SPRING. And we repeated it, over and over again until time was up.
W – walking lunges to cones and back
I – In and Outs (20 reps)
N – Narrow Squats (20 reps)
T – Tricep Kickbacks (20 reps)
E – Elbow to Knee Planks (20 reps)
R – Reverse Crunches (20)
S – Sumo Squats (20)
P – push ups (20)
R – Run to island and back
I – Imperial Walkers (20)
N – Narwhals – Which I made up. We need another N exercise! This is a one legged Glute bridge (20)
G – Gun Show – another one I made up! One arm extended out. Other arm does single overhead press. Switch arms (20 total)
It started to rain toward the end of our workout. So, we circled up, prayed, and scooted rather quickly. It was a great group, lots of laughter and chatting this morning!
