BackBlast:

6 awesome ladies joined me this morning for our beatdown. We started out with a little game of Would You Rather.
Pick your poison and perform the exercise for one minute. This was a fun way to get to know each other a little better.
• Introvert or Extrovert?
Introvert – In and Outs
Extrovert – Star Jumps

• Dog or Cat?
Dog – Bicep Curls
Cat – Tricep Kickbacks

• Cardio or Weights?
Cardio – Jump rope in Place
Weights – Deadlifts

• Cake or Pie?
Cake – Russian Twists
Pie – Big Girl Sit-ups

• Swimming or Sunbathing?
Swimming – Overhead Press
Sunbathing – Plank

• Camping or Hotel?
Camping – Mountain Climbers
Hotel – Jog in place

• Hamburger or Taco?
Hamburger – Elbow to Knee crunches
Taco – Toe touches

• Passenger or Driver?
Passenger – Squats
Driver – Lunges

• Sweet or Salty?
Sweet – Flutter Kicks
Salty – Pretzel crunch

• Beach or Mountains?
Beach – crab crawl
Mountains – Wood choppers

The we moved on to the thang – 30 second sets.
We did each exercise for thirty (30) seconds and at the end of each set, we rested for thirty seconds. Each set was like an accumulator bc we repeated the exercise(s) from the previous set and added a new one.

– 30 secs of squats, rest for 30 secs
– 30 secs squats, 30 sec squat jacks, rest for 30 secs
– 30 sec squats, 30 sec squat jacks, 30 sec jump squats, rest for 30 secs
-30 sec squats, 30 sec squat jacks, 30 sec jump squats, 30 sec fast feet, rest for 30 seconds
-30 sec squats, 30 sec squat jacks, 30 sec jump squats, 30 sec fast feet, 30 secs of burpees, rest for 1 minute.
Then we ran a big stair lap.
After all those leg moves, we got a quick swig of water and hit our mats for our next 30 second exercises. We did 4 exercises (30 seconds each, no rest inbetween) then a 10 sec rest at the end.
I called out the 1st set of 4 and then let the PAX chose the others. Our moves were as follows:
– 30 secs chest flies
– 30 secs chest press
– 30 secs skull crushers
– 30 secs LBC’s
10 second rest

– 30 secs Penguins
– 30 secs Merkins
– 30 secs leg raises
– 30 secs plank
Then we ran another big stair lap.

We finished just in time for a quick photo, prayer, and Name-o-Rama.
