It was a VERY humid, rain just ended kind of morning. Thankfully the rain held off and we just got the enjoyment of soaking wet pavement and extremely moist air. 7 PAX showed up to workout this morning and try out a new workout routine with me. We warmed up with some OYO stretching while we waited for some later arrivers (who may or may not have been living it up in Vegas all weekend). We finished off the warm up with an Indian Run to the front of the school where the hill is at the entrance. We ran through 10 minutes of Triple Threat (One partner sprinted the hill while one partner held chair and the other held plank. Change roles each time partner returns from running). We moseyed back to our main parking lot to complete the rest of the workout.

The Thang

WEB 1

  • PAX run from designated start to center light post and form a circle.
  • Perform 10 spider push ups
  • Bear Crawl away from light post 4 times
  • Perform 10 BOOMs (Drop down into plank for burpee, do one leg side tap, other leg side tap, merkin, finish the burpee with the jump)
  • Bear Crawl back to where you started 4 times
  • Jog out to starting point
  • Repeat, decreasing spiders and BOOMs by 2, but increasing bear crawls by 4 until you get to the end (You could decrease by 1s on the exercises and go up by 4s on the bears if you have more time)

WEB 2

  • PAX run from designated start to center light post and form a circle
  • Perform 10 jump squats
  • Lunge Walk away from light post 4 times
  • Perform 10 star jumps
  • Lunge walk back to where you started 4 times
  • Jog out to starting point
  • Repeat, decreasing jumps by 2, but increasing lunge walks by 4 until you get to the end (You could decrease by 1s on the exercises but go up by 2s on the lunges if you have more time)

We didn’t have much time for stretching, but we huddled up and did a quick prayer before name-o-rama!
