Cinco and Cinders

In celebration of my 1st Annual FiAnniversary, I brought back ChocolateChip’s Q from my first-attendance (with a couple tweaks for time).  It was rewarding to see how much I’d grown in a year.  Her original: https://fianation.com/happy-cinco-de-mayo/

Inspector Gadget joined me and we were off to run a quick lap to warm up.

Then we picked up a cinder block from the back of my van and began the beatdown.

The Thang:

4 rounds (5 – 1 for time sake) of 5 exercises, 5 reps of each for 5 minutes AMRAP – with a 45 second rest b/t rounds.

Rounds 1 & 2:

5 Burpees

5 Pushups

5 Overhead Press with Cinder Block

5 Jump Squats

5 Bent Over Rows with Cinder Block

Rounds 3 & 4:

5 Mountain Climbers

5 Plank Taps

5 Skaters

5 Crunchy Frogs

5 Burpees

5th round:  Like 11’s, but different.  Start at 25 reps each (Curtsy Lunges and LBC’s),  then go up (by 5) for LBC’s and down (by 5) for Curtsy Lunges.  A run between sombreros separated the space between exercises.

COT & Stretch.

We talked about important things:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
