Crazy 8s at the #Hideout

The morning was cool and so were the ladies who joined me today for a Crazy 8s Friday beatdown at the Hideout. I forgot to take a picture so I’m thankful I knew the other 3 who came out. Everything today was about the 8s. We started warming up with arm circles forward IC for 8, then backward IC for 8, jumping jacks IC for 8, and high knees for about 30 seconds.

The Thang – Crazy 8s

So the goal was to get through 8 rounds of 8 different exercises with 8 reps each exercise. We made it to 7 so we were feeling pretty good (not to mention sweaty) after that! The exercises were:

Squat jumps

push ups

walking lunges (8 each leg)

glute bridges

bicep curls or other arm exercise

Imperial squat walkers (8 each leg)


plank jacks (out-and-in counts as 1)

When we finished each round we ran to the 2nd light post down the bus lanes and back. We stopped with 3 minutes left to stretch and take prayer requests and name-o-rama.
