Eight sweaty & hot ladies joined me for a game of King Kong @ The Arena this morning. Remember that game from back in the day? Well we created the real live version today, minus the falling barrels!! First we started with a warm up song challenge. One of my favorites – Turn Down for What (Lil’ Jon) – We did funky high knees throughout with quick feet for the hook. Then we jogged to our starting point…

Level 1 – 10 Angry Donkey Kicks <—-Bear Crawl to the end, Jump up to the next level
Level 2 – 20 Angry Donkey Kicks —->Bear Crawl to the end, Jump up to the next level
Level 3 – 30 Angry Donkey Kicks <—-Bear Crawl to the end, Jump up to the next level
Level 4 – 40 Angry Donkey Kicks —->Sprint to the end & back to go back down<—- BUT not after doing 40 Angry Donkey Kicks!
Level 3 BC—> 30 ADK
Level 2 <—BC 20 ADK
Level 1 BC—> 10 ADK
So did anyone do the math?? That was 200 Angry Donkey Kicks ladies!!! Wow!! Way to go!!! Y’all killed it!!
Once back at our starting point we then ran & climbed the wall of the stage & back to our mats for a round of Bag of Abs. We caught our breath, got a sip of water & each took turns rolling dice to determine the number of reps for an ab exercise that we drew out of a bag. We had just enough time for another song challenge – Shots (LMFAO/Lil’ Jon) – We did (what I call) hip hop squats throughout then jumps during the hook. Hip hop Squats are alternating, leg inside twists… as if you are “throwing/pushing” your bottom to the front. I know that sounds confusing!! So next time you see me let me know, I will be happy to demonstrate!! LOL!
We did a quick prayer, Name-0-Rama & some chatter about possible new locations. Thanks ladies for spending your Wednesday with me!! ~xoxo to you all!!
