Mr. Potato Head Team Building!

8 PAX at AO Foxtrot on this chilly Thursday Thanksgiving morning. We gathered at the Veterans Memorial Park snack shack. When I arrived at the park I saw a few cars waiting. I posted our FiA flag and gathered my mat and weights for the workout. I walked to the picnic tables where our workout was going to be. As I turned the corning I saw a full size Wonder Woman. I was so so excited!! Harley Quinn brought it for me, set it up and surprised me with her. Today is my Birthday Q as well. I screamed with excitement and hugged Harley Quinn!! My FiA family sure knows me well.

After I calmed down I turned the music on and we started to stretch for our beat-down. We stretched for the duration of one whole song. After the song we felt we were warm and I explained the workout. We played a game where we needed to make two complete Mr. Potato Heads. I put Mr. Potato Head parts in a bag.  Every time we pulled a part out of the bag we did an exercise. The reps were 41 for how old I was turning that day and 22 for the day I was born. Our 8 PAX split into 2 teams. We were trying to make our two complete Mr. Potato Heads before the other team. We stayed very close and at the end we finished at the same time. We had just enough time to do some stretching at the end.

Feet – Run lap 1 (Down the hill, around the curve & up the stairs)

Arm – Bicep Curl 41 (41 each time we pulled out an arm)

Ear – Bicycles 41 (41 each time we pulled out an ear)

Mouth – Star Jumps 22 (Because Star jumps make us all curse)

Nose – Russian Twist 22 (1 is one set, both sides)

Eyes – Flutter Kicks 41 (eyes to the sky, 41 total)

Hat – Hats off to you 22 (weighted Hallelujah’s)

AND if you pulled an extra accessory part, hopefully NOT, we did 10 burpees! Team 1 pulled all 3 of their accessory parts as their very first 3 parts pulled. Bummer … 30 BURPEES!

The result of this fun birthday party game was these awesome Mr. Potato Heads!!

We said a few prayers. We said thanks to the people in our lives that we were the most Thankful for and we had our Namorama. Then we wore Birthday Party hats as we had coffeteria & egg casserole thanks to Smooth Operator and Harley Quinn. I brought a bowl of fruit, bananas, granola bars and creamer. I opened a few presents and hugged all of me fabulous FiA’s that joined me that morning as I gave them the party goody bags that I made them. It was an amazing start to my birthday and Thanksgiving day.

I am so very thankful for ALL of these awesome ladies. I look forward to workouts. I look forward to seeing them in the stores and at our kids schools. I am thankful to have them pushing me. I am thankful for FiA and all it has given to me.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the wonderful FiA’s out there.
