Pyramid of Pain (again)

There were 20 beautiful faces bright and early at Foxtrot this morning!  The weather was amazing (60 degrees on a February morning? I’ll take it!) and the company was even better!

We did some quick stretches, high knees, windmills (IC) and SSH (IC) to get the blood pumping and then we go to it!

The Thang:

Pyramid of Pain – The reps were on the left side of the pyramid and the number of laps on the right.  We started at the bottom and worked our way up, running/walking laps around the parking lot in between.  The reps increased as we went up and the number of laps decreased.  Much to everyone’s dismay, we ran out of time before we made it to the top of the pyramid, so no burpees.  Sorry ladies – I will make it up to you next time!

It went something like this:

25 each – Carolina Dry Docks, Curtsy Lunges (each), V-Ups, Bicycles, Squats

Run 5 Laps

30 each – Push Ups, Squat Jumps, Shoulder Taps (total), Split Jumps (jumping lunge)

Run 4 Laps

35 each – LBCs, Mountain Climbers, Russian Twists

Run 3 Laps

40 each – Lunges (total), Tricep Dips

Run 2 Laps

50 – 1/2 Burpees or 25 full Burpees (PAX choice)

Run 1 Lap

We finished right at 6:15!  There was a lot of running today – thanks for hanging with me!!

We circled up for COT and name-o-rama.
