15 PAX joined the Beat Down on this cold morning. It’s crazy to think that tomorrow is the first day of Spring, being that the temperature was 32 degrees!?! We all met in the parking lot at the Den and Whole Coconut even got in a quick nap. 🙂

THE THANG

Pyramid Palooza!

Yes, that’s right….PYRAMID!! We started at the top of the pyramid and worked our way down through each row. We performed each row together as a group, completing the number of reps as indicated on the left. We then ran a lap to the light-post and back (number of laps indicated on the right of the pyramid). As the front runners completed the rows, we also had bonus arm exercises for the in-between time as all PAX finished up each row.

ROW 1
  • Skater Jumps -50 Reps
  • 1 Lap to Light-post
  • Bonus: Dumbbell Punches
ROW 2
  • Glute Bridges, Monkey Humpers – 40 Reps each
  • 2 Laps to Light-post
  • Bonus: Bicep Curls
ROW 3
  • Sit Ups, Dead Lifts, Mountain Climbers (each leg) – 30 Reps each
  • 3 Laps to Light-post
  • Bonus: Shoulder Press
ROW 4
  • Plie Squats, Diagonal Bird Dogs, Plank Shoulder Taps, Bicycles (double count) – 20 Reps each
  • 4 Laps to Light-post
  • Bonus: Lateral Raises
ROW 5
  • Push Ups, Plank Jacks, Lunges, Squat Jumps, Tricep Dips – 10 Reps each
  • 5 Laps to Light-post
  • Bonus: More Tricep Dips

We finished with a little time to spare, so we repeated the row of 20 reps. We took a moment to stretch and then circled up for Name-o-rama and COT and left with a Bible verse for the day: “God is within her, she will not fall.” Psalm 46:5
