Rucking Russian Twists

12 PAX rocked it at AO The Den. The weather was a little cool, the gals had a few layers on but they came out to get a great work out and make it happen. I quickly kicked it in to gear and kept them moving and warm.

4 PAX started at 5:00 AM so that we could Ruck our miles prior to the workout. 2 miles in and a quick shuffle back to the rest of the group.

12 PAX did a group stretch for few minutes and jumped into our workout. The GoRuck Workout Day 5 was on the menu.

Ruck 1 mile

10 sets:

10 Russian Twists (each side)

10 Push-ups

10 Overhead Squats

Ruck 1 mile

The workout took 30 mins of fighting our packs, lots of up & downs on our mats and mumble chatter. It was a great challenge and some of the PAX were happy to have their Rucks on to make it even more of a challenge. After the 30 minute Ruck workout, Rise-Up took over the workout with a round of “Name your favorite ab exercise.” We each named an ad exercise and did 20 reps.  After the 100 weighted Russian Twists our abs were taking a beating with more ab fun. But we made it happen. The workout ended, we did COT, prayers and Rise-Up read a Devotion. The Load is My Rock & Psalm 18:2.
