The Pentagon at The Union

We had 7 PAX show up at The Union this morning despite Cherokee County Fall Break. A few of us kicked off the welcome party by running 1-2 miles before the beatdown. Once 5:30 hit we warmed up with:

Arm Circles forward and back

Chest openers

Side to Side pulsing lunges

10 Windmills IC

10 SSH IC

We headed down the hill to the “Start”

THE THANG

From the staring line, make a circle (or pentagon) of cones, each about 50 yards apart. PAX starts with 5 burpees. Run to first cone and complete 10 Jumping Jacks, 10 Sumo Squats, 10 Merkins. Run to second come and repeat, run to third cone and so on. When you finish the 5th come head back to start and do 5 burpees. This time, PAX completes 20 Jumping Jacks, 20 Sumo Squats, 20 Merkins. Hit all 5 cones and then head back to start. 5 more burpees. For the final round, PAX did 30 Jumping Jacks, 30 sumo squats, and 30 Merkins at all 5 cones.

We finished at a little over a mile of running and after completing round 3- that gave us a total of 300 Merkins, 300 sumo squats and 300 jumping jacks!

Everyone did really great and worked hard! Round three was no joke!

We finished up with prayers (Bourbon’s Mom, Partly Cloudy’s Family, traveling FiA sisters) and COT. As always, a great start to a Mobday!
