The Starfish Cometh and All The Burpees

Oh, what a beautiful morning! After a what seemed to be the longest morning of our lives (this one was tough), 12 PAX looked up only to be greeted with the most beautiful sunrise!

Seriously, y’all….this workout was tough. We started the morning with some stretches, Michael Phelps, Toy Soldiers, Windmills (IC) and some other leg stretches, while I explained:

THE THANG: The Starfish Cometh and All the Burpees

5 “Legs” – 3 Rounds – Reps are as follows: and after each round, PAX ran to the “Center” to complete 5 Burpees…..so, 15 total rounds, all totalled PAX completed 75 Burpees. It was quite a challenge, and these amazing ladies rocked this workout!

Leg 1:

50 Bicep Curls – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

40 Tricep Kickbacks – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

30 Deadlifts – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

Leg 2:

50 Squats – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

40 Imperial Squat Walkers – 5 Burpees

30 Monkey Humpers – 5 Burpees

Leg 3:

50 Alternating Plank Shoulder Taps – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

40 Alternating Plank Up and Downs – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

30 Alternating Plank Toe Touches – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

Leg 4:

50 LBCs – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

40 Bicycles – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

30 Leg Lifts – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

Leg 5:

50 Jumping Jacks – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

40 Seal Jacks – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

30 Plank Jacks – Run to Center – 5 Burpees

WOWZA! We came together to take a picture, some PAX did some OYO stretching, but there was very little time to do any stretching together. In COT, there were quite a few prayer requests, announcements, and Name-O-Rama!
