14 PAX showed up on this beautiful hot Saturday morning to get #bettertogether. It was a hot one with all of us drenched in sweat by the end but we all started our day feeling better about ourselves.
Torso twists, static stretches in place, jumping jacks, and butt kickers while I gave the disclaimer and made sure to tell everyone to take plenty of breaks since it was so warm.
We started on the hill near the playground with the Triple Nickel. We did 5 bicep curls at the bottom, ran up the hill, did 5 squats at the top, and ran back down the hill. We did this 5 times.
Then on to 4 corners which tried to kill us. We did 2 rounds of this with 20 reps the first round and 15 reps the next round. I had hoped we could do one more round with 10 reps but we didn’t have enough time.

Crazy 8’s were up next week. We only got to do about 4 minutes instead of 8 but we started them. We did 8 reps of 8 exercises over and over again in the allotted time.

Start buying snacks, drinks, chips, etc for Summer Lunches for the kids. Or you can donate to the Fia Fund for the sandwiches. Go ahead and buy your paper bags and have your kiddos draw pictures and sayings on them. Bring your purchases to any beatdown and we will collect them. Hopefully by end of next week we’ll have a few dates in mind to meet and pack the lunches over the summer.
