Up & Down Ladders

5 beautiful ladies showed up to sweat together on this muggy (with slight breeze) Wednesday morning.  It was so good to see Ace back after her elbow surgery.  She modified as needed as did Caddy Shack who has a cast on her thumb/wrist.

Warm Up:

arm/shoulder stretches, jumping jacks, quad/hamstring stretches

The Thang:

We went up and down ladders of exercises and did some moseying in between.  Our moseys looked a lot like Whole Coconut’s the day before.  I already had my work out planned before attending Whole Coconut’s so now we just know that great minds think alike.

Ladder #1 (in pairs)

50 Moroccan night clubs

40 alternating punches (across body or forward with weights)

30 skaters

20 jumping jacks

10 jump squats

power skip to end of parking lot and back

Ladder #2 (in pairs)

10 plank front raises – in plank position do a front raise as if you were standing balancing on the other hand & back down

20 leg lifts

30 bicycle crunches

40 glute bridges

50 chest fly

grapevine to end of parking lot and back

Ladder #3

50 calf raises

40 hammer curls

30 push ups

20 narrow squats

10 plank jacks

side shuffle to end of parking lot and back

Ladder #4 (in pairs)

10 mountain climbers

20 overheard press

30 tricep extensions

40 donkey kicks

50 fire hydrants

run a  full lap

We then had enough time to do Ladder #3 again.

Ended with the below saying, COT, prayer led by Caddy Shack, and name o rama.

Don’t forget our social this Saturday at 5:00 at Riverstone Corner Bistro.  Leave the kids and husbands at home and come hang out with all of us.
