19 beautiful women braved the cold for a Valentine’s Day Words of Love Beatdown. We did some light stretching to warm up and then played a game of Have you Ever. For the first 5 questions you had to grapevine right or left in response to the question. For the last 5 you had to power skip. You always learn something new about everyone in these games.
The thang
We spelled out Valentine’s Day words. For each word we did 14 reps of each exercise and kept repeating for 4 minutes.
K – kickjacks
I – inchworms
S – squats
S – ski jumps
We then did 50 mountain climbers (total)
H – hip raises single leg in the air
E – elbow to knee plank
A – alternating back lunges
R – russian twists
T – tricep extensions
We then did 100 jumping jacks
L – lying leg lifts
O – overhead tricep extensions
V – v sit crunches
E – extensions (fly)
We walked over to the parking spaces and bear crawled from one side to the other, did 5 declining push ups, bear crawled back to our starting point & did 5 more declining push ups
C – curls (bicep)
U – upright rows
P – plie squats with heel lifted
I -inner thigh leg lifts
D – deadlifts
We then ran a lap
We didn’t have time to do the whole set again so we took a vote and redid the CUPID exercises one more time before stretching.
We closed with COT and verses from the Bible regarding love: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 – (4)Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. (5)It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (6)Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (7)It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Today was also our Secret Sister reveal. Everyone had a great time showering our Secret Sisters with fun gifts the last couple of weeks.
