It finally feels like FALL in GA!!! Woohoo! Wonderfully breezy morning at the Den… 12 PAX came out for a fun, challenging workout this morning. Having to live up to my name (Pinterest) I crafted our very own “Wheel-of-FiA”.

“The Thang”

After a quick warm up I explained what each exercise on the wheel was and ran the wheel to the other end of the parking lot. We circled up with our weights and mats. Starting with jumping jacks as a group one person ran to the wheel to spin and ran back reciting the next exercise according to the wheel. Each person took a turn spinning the wheel while the rest of us did the previous exercise. Ex: Chocolate Chip ran to the wheel, spun and landed on burpees. She then ran back to the group yelling out the exercise and we all started burpees. While the group does burpees the next one in line runs to the wheel, spins, runs back reciting the exercise and so on… Resting and modifications were as needed. We made it around the circle two full times then ran the wheel back to the middle of the circle. For the last few minutes each person spun the wheel one last time and we did the exercise for 30 seconds each time.

With the last few minutes remaining we stretched and did COT. It was so pleasant to workout with this fall weather coming in!

We had a ton of fun and I look forward to many more workouts incorporating the “Wheel-of-FiA”.
