Thankfully there were lots of warm, sunny smiles and laughs to go around this morning because the weather was not awesome. It was windy, grey, damp and chilly but that didn’t stop 9 PAX from gathering out at Foxtrot to tackle a beatdown inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas!
Warm up with Michael Phelps, arm circles, through the tunnel IC, jumping jacks IC, and toy soldiers.
We then moved to the main workout which was a 12 Days accumulator. We did one of the first, then ran a lap. After the lap we added two of the next + one of the first and then another lap. We continued adding a days up to twelve as follows:
1 minute plank
2 squat jumps
3 tricep dips
4 bicep curls
5 around the world
6 sets bicycle crunches
7 glute bridges
8 front raises
9 squat to press
10 sets mountain climbers
11 sets high knees
We closed things out with a couple minutes of stretching on our own.
Announcements were full including reminders of Ruck for a Claus, next week’s White Elephant Gift Exchange, January social night, reminders to grab Q spots and Superheroes week next week. We did a COT and name-o-rama and enjoyed some treats for December birthdays during coffeeteria.
Crazy how a little, not so little, thing like a workout with these gals can fill your heart with all kinds of happy. ❤️
