Now that the weather is cooling, our Wednesday evening beatdowns are pretty glorious! We kicked of our workout with some stretches and an Indian Run. As PAX sprinted forward to the front of the line, they told us about their worst Halloween costume ever.
When we got back to our mats, we jumped right into The Thang: The Millennial.
Each PAX works toward 100 reps of a given exercise. The first one to 100 calls everyone off and starts the group in a run and back. Then you start on the next exercise. Again going until the first person hits 100.
The real Millennial workout has 9 exercises, then for the 10th, each winner leads the group in a round of 10 burpees. 100 burpees total. 1,000 total exercise reps.
We did a modified Millennial. We kept going with exercises until time ran out. No burpees involved – they mess up my back and we have a few Wed night PAX on the injured, but modifying list. So I gave them a pass this time. Here are our exercise:
1. Fake Jump Ropes
2. Smurf Jacks
3. Imperial Walkers
6. Bicep Curls
7. Raggedy Anns
8. Push Ups
10. Bear Squats
12. Donkey Kicks
We closed with some stretching, our COT, and name-o-Rama.
Please keep little McKenzie in your thoughts and prayers – she is Trailmix’s 4th grade student that is battling brain cancer. Please keep Foxy in your prayers, she lost a cousin this week. Go support Healthy Mama’s pampered chef fundraiser!
And don’t forget our Halloween convergence this Saturday at 8 am!
