What an amazing Friday morning! I think we were all a little nervous that the rain would be worse and that we might miss our FiA time, but the rain passed just in time for us to get together and celebrate…wait for it…wait for it….Southern Charm’s mama joining the ranks of our FiA sisters!
Once everyone rolled in, we started with some warmups of arm circles, Michael Phelps and jumping jacks. And then we started the thang!
THE THANG!
Four Corners. We had 4 different cones set up with 2 exercises each and a nice running distance between each cone. At each cone we did 10 of each exercise and then ran to the next cone. After we did the whole loop, we went up to 20…30…back down to 20…back down to 10.
- Cone 1 – Hillbillies (sets) and Imperial Walkers (sets)
- Cone 2 – Glute Bridges and Bicycle Crunches (sets)
- Cone 3 – Deadlifts and Overhead Tricep Extensions
- Cone 4 – Moroccan Nightclubs and Hallelujahs
After doing all 5 rounds of our 4 Corners, we ran or walked the biggest loop at the Hideout until every PAX had finished their rounds and done at least one loop. Which ended us with perfect timing for naming our guest of honor. As you can see from the title, we went with Mama Harm! Which started as a joke, but she loved it and we loved it and now Mama Harm is our new sister!
